My Approach
At Seasons of Life, my approach to counselling is client-centred, strength-based, and trauma-informed, ensuring that every individual feels heard, respected and empowered through their healing journey. I believe that everyone carries inherent resilience and wisdom and my role is to support you in uncovering and building upon your strengths.
My practice is highly personalised, adapting to meet your unique experiences, challenges and goals, whether you are navigating life transitions, grief, ageing or the demands of caregiving. With a gentle, compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I create a safe space where clients can explore emotions, process trauma and develop practical coping strategies.
I aim to foster connection, clarity and a renewed sense of purpose by incorporating evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness, narrative therapy, art therapy and animal-assisted therapy.
Above all, I am here to support you through your journey; helping you embrace change with dignity, resilience and hope.
SERVICES
-
I offer individual counselling in a supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly about the challenges you may be facing.
My practice is grounded in personalised care, recognising that every person’s experiences and needs are unique. Together we can explore concerns such as anxiety, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties or feelings of overwhelm.
Through compassionate conversation and practical strategies, counselling can help you gain insight, strengthen coping skills and move towards greater wellbeing and balance in your life.
-
I provide family counselling to support families navigating challenges, changes or difficult experiences together.
My practice focuses on creating a supportive and balanced space where each person’s voice can be heard. Through open conversation and guided reflection, families can explore concerns such as communication difficulties, conflict, parenting challenges, life transitions or the impact of stress and loss.
Family counselling can help strengthen relationships, build understanding and support families to find healthier ways of connecting with one another.
-
If individual counselling isn’t for you, I also run small group programs and workshops throughout the year on a variety of topics, including navigating life’s tricky transitions, caring for yourself while supporting others, and working through grief.
Group programs consist of shorter sessions over several weeks, while workshops are longer, one off sessions.
Note: minimum numbers are required for group programs or workshops to run.
If you would like more information on upcoming sessions, you can fill out an expression of interest here.

I can also incorporate animal-assisted therapy into individual, family or group sessions with my registered therapy dog, Oakley. For those who like animals, Oakley can provide comfort, connection, and emotional support during sessions. His calming presence helps reduce anxiety, ease loneliness, and create a warm, nurturing environment for clients.
Whether offering quiet support during difficult conversations or simply bringing joy and connection, Oakley plays a valuable role in supporting emotional well-being. His gentle nature makes therapy feel more approachable, helping clients feel at ease as they navigate life’s challenges with a sense of comfort and reassurance.
